Planvent is run from Canada but not stored here: our infrastructure runs in the United States and our email provider handles platform mail in the European Union. You can ask us to delete everything at any time. The privacy policy has the detail.
No. Never, in any form, at any point. A vendor pricing a job through Planvent sees the brief and the scope - not the budget, not the client, and not another vendor's quote.
No. Nothing you put into Planvent trains our models or anyone else's, and our providers are on business terms that exclude it. We do build one thing out of what passes through the platform: an anonymised view of what event services cost, so that everyone's budget estimates get better. It is aggregate statistics with the identity stripped out - never your name, your client, your event, your fee or a single vendor's quote - and section 6 of the privacy policy sets out exactly what it can and cannot contain.
No, on both counts. A quote request reaches a vendor like any other inquiry and they answer it from the link in the email, with no login and no fee. Their reply lands in the planner's workspace as a draft quote, already tagged to the event, vendor and category. Being on a planner's shortlist costs a vendor nothing.
Yes. Write to us and we will produce a copy of your workspace, and if you close the account you have 30 days to ask. Self-serve export is not built yet, so during the beta this is a request answered by a person rather than a button - which does at least mean you can ask for it in whatever shape is actually useful to you.
